Our Valeo engineers designed the High Efficiency Clutch (HEC) as an aftermarket alternative to Self-Adjusting technology. HEC provides greater quality, reliability and durability by using an improved pressure plate and low-wear facing. High Efficiency Clutch (H.E.C.) Driving Performance Single disc design reduces shift effort and eliminates drag . Durable Diaphragm Design Increases the life of the clutch by giving uniform plate pressure and greater plate load as the disc assembly wears. Medium/Heavy Duty

DF Pro Series

Innovation On a single disc, one side evenly distributes pressure plate clamping force across a 360-degree friction facing, while the other side utilizes a segmented friction-facing that directs the clamp pressure for more holding capacity creating substantial grip and smooth drivability. Increased Performance • The centrifugal weight system increases clamp-load along with engine speed and power by using centrifugal force on the clutch diaphragm. • Ball bearings are used as a fulcrum (pivot) point for the pressure plate diaphragm spring to increase the clutch holding-capacity while keeping a low pedal effort.

The DMF is comprised of two independent masses separated by springs. This splits the inertia between the engine and the transmission to keep the vibration and resonance below the engine idle speed. As a result, there is no transmission gear rattle in the normal speed range of the vehicle.
