NOISE SYMPTOM: in neutral or when shifting gear

Grease on the drive plate hub

What to do

Identify the problem: • engine running, vehicle stationary, • noise coming from the gearbox => centrifuged grease on the hub.

Causes: grease reduces the filtering capacity of the clutch, producing an abnormal noise.

The solutions • Replace the clutch, using the grease provided, without any excess. Cleaning will not correct this fault.
