Dual stage BSG reversible tensioner Dual stage tensioners have the ability to efficiently compensate for belt tension in both positive or negative torque on the BSG machine offering the optimum torque transmission, they allow as well to increase dynamically the belt wrap angle on the pulley as can be seen on the following scheme. Dual stage tensioners are as a general rule offered for torque up to 70Nm. For higher torque demands as Mild-Hybrid energy recovery, the belt drive requires again to be adapted to alternate technical solutions as the decoupling tensioner.
