Valeo e-Charger

Complementary to its rotating machine range, Valeo offers Since 2017 the e-Charger.

Benefiting from recovery cycles and a 48V DC converter, the e-Charger assists the conventional turbocharger in low RPM situations, improving the turbo lag and the drivetrain efficiency.

Valeo e-Charger takes benefit from recovered electrical energy to boost the drivetrain during take off. The Audi SQ7 is the first application with Valeo e-Charger 48v electric compressor.
