VS - Electrical Systems From Stop-Start to Hybridization

Stop-Start disabling after servicing operations Battery disconnection In the event of a battery disconnection, the system will disable the Stop-Start operation until the battery State of Charge is recalculated, this processing may take a bit of time until all parameters are properly recovered. Battery change In case of a battery change, the system has to be reinitialized, this operation allows the system to calculate the State of Health (SoH) based on the fact that it is now a new device, thus recovering 100% of the initial Stop-Start function availability. Often known as battery coding it requires the appropriate diagnostic or specialized coding tool.

Conventional lead-acid batteries are not compatible with high cycling, always refer to original battery definition for Stop-Start systems (EFB or AGM).
