In this edition, we present a new sustainable wiper product coming to market, some promotions to support your continued business growth and much more product news. In recent months, we have had some good reasons to celebrate: 25 years of LKQ and 100 years of Valeo. We would like to thank you all for your contribution and look forward to the second half of 2023! BUSINESS ACQUISITION SUPPORT In S1 2023 we have launched more than

1750+ new part numbers. The turnover generated by you with new products represents in average more than 5,8% of the turnover done with Valeo. In S2 2023 further you will get 5% discount on all newly purchased part numbers (vs. 2022) in Transmission, Starter & Alternators, Wipers, Lighting and Thermal.

3% ON LOGISTICS QUANTITIES

Picking and ordering the right product is one thing, but ordering the right quantity can easily get you a 3% discount. In 2023, take full advantage of logistics volumes to increase your profit margin & don’t

BORN TO ELECTRIFY

Valeo is a world-leading aftermarket supplier and innovator in the field of vehicle electrification. Aiming to offer more environmentally friendly mobility solutions and reduce the carbon footprint, Valeo develops innovative powertrain and thermal management solutions for hybrid and electric vehicles. The most recent developments feature the introduction of the iBSG and the DWC , as well as the electric compressors. By the end of 2023, Valeo will launch new high-voltage components such as inverters, OBCs and eDrives.

As part of Valeo’s CAP 50 plan to reduce the carbon footprint of its entire value chain, Valeo Service, a Valeo entity dedicated to aftermarket activities, is committed to gradually reducing the impact of automotive aftermarket activities on the environment and supports its professional partners in their efforts to contribute to a more sustainable aftermarket. Valeo is launching Valeo Canopy TM , the first wiper blade designed to reduce CO 2 emissions by 61% compared to a Valeo wiper blade representative of the majority of wiper blades commercialized in the European market*. A performance verified by Bureau Veritas, an independent organization. Valeo Canopy TM ’s rubber blade is made of more than 80% natural, renewable, or recycled materials such as cane sugar, vegetable oils, or carbon black from recycled tires. An increased share of recycled material is used in other components of Valeo Canopy TM wiper blades, with up to 15% recycled steel in the metal structures and up to 50% recycled plastic in the end clips. The Valeo Canopy TM range of wiper blades is delivered ready to use, without unnecessary adapters to be thrown away while offering great ease of assembly. It covers 95% of the vehicles in the European car parc. Valeo doesn’t stop there; Valeo Canopy TM comes in 100% cardboard packaging, fully recyclable, and printed with solvent-free water-based inks. In addition to this action on the specific Valeo Canopy TM range, Valeo is ELECTRICAL DRIVEN COMPRESSOR Compact, Lightweight, and Powerful: Valeo’s Electric Compressors Enhance Performance and Sustainability of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles. Valeo’s innovative «smart thermal network» system is designed to enhance overall energy efficiency and cabin comfort without compromising driving range. By utilizing advanced heat pump technology, this system is able to efficiently heat, air condition, and demist the cabin, ensuring optimal comfort in all weather conditions. At the heart of this system are Valeo’s electrically driven compressors, which provide superior cooling performance and capacity for both cabin air conditioning and battery thermal management. These compressors are engineered to be compact, lightweight, and durable, making them an ideal choice for today’s electric and hybrid vehicles. 3 Key Hybrid PSA references are already available and ready to sell to your customers: 690294, 690295, 690296 ( Citroen C4 / Picasso / Jumpy / Space Tourer DS7 Peugeot 208 / 3008 / 5008). Finally, with Valeo Canopy TM , Valeo promotes both the industry and jobs in Europe , since it is manufactured in the Valeo plant in Issoire (France), from which the majority of Valeo wipers for the European market already originate. The site has been particularly committed to an energy efficiency plan for more than 10 years and certified “Energy Management” by the ISO 50001 label. Volkswagen Type 2 On March 8, 1950 , the Volkswagen Type 2 was launched by the German manufacturer, equipped with windshield wipers and a horn manufactured by Valeo. Very soon it was given the friendly nickname of ‘‘Bulldog’’ and became a pop culture icon . It still holds the record for the longest production run for a vehicle of this type.
